Man has evolved from being primitive who goes to different places to hunt for food to a modern and technologically equipped mammal who now uses a small electronic device to call a local fastfood chain to order a wide array of food in the comforts of his home. Man has progressed from eating raw meat that eventually roast them over their newly discovered fire to a modern man who with a simple click of his fingers a simple meat can be turned to a very delectable meal.
The advancement of man's knowledge and the birth of technological advancement has indeed change how man survive in this very harsh, ever changing world. Man owes the comfort he is experiencing now with the different scientific discoveries by famous Nobel prized scientist and engineers who exploited the different intangible concepts of science that dwels on man's inquisitive barin and bring them to material world- thus technology is born.
Technology is the purposeful application of information in the design, production, and utilization of
goods and services, and in the organization of human activities. A rather interesting definition of technology is the creation of new things for the improvement of man's life. Most often technology is equated with computers, smart phones, tablet and other electronic inventions. Indeed these things have improved our way of life. Though there are some aspects that it somehow affected man negatively but the reason of their creation is to change and develop our way of life.
Many kids nowadays are seen playing with computers, tablets and smartphones. Many are against this and see the negative side of it, however one must be aware that the present generation of kids will be the generation who will be living with this technological advancement shall be the one who will exploit them to develop a more advance technology... again for the progress of man's life.
Imagine the different possibilities we can create base on what we have today. Who can imagine that robots can help doctors inside the hospital with those robotic arms? Maybe in the next few years a great deal of advancement can be seen in the healthcare industry to cure those incurable disease before. Rescue mission will be a lot safer and possible even in dangerous site if programmed robots will do the job. The great things that technology can offer is tremendous it just wait for an inquisitive mind to start creating new invention.
We are really fortunate that in our curriculum we are introduced to the different concepts in computer and technology.
